What is the Wisconsin Fraternal Congress?
This organization was founded more than 40 years ago and is dedicated to promoting the fraternal benefit system in Wisconsin and to conduct benevolent and educational activities for people in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Fraternal Congress (WFC) also fosters the true fraternal spirit in the state.

The Congress itself is a member-society of the National Fraternal Congress of America. The WFC is a unique trade association comprised of 35 fraternal benefit societies, six of which are domiciled in the state. Direction is given by an Executive Board, comprised of volunteer representatives from various fraternal benefit societies. The WFC retains a legislative consultant who keeps the group updated on legislation that may positively or adversely affect fraternal benefit societies. At present, the consultant is former governor, Martin J. Schreiber.

  • conducting benevolent and educational activities for the people of Wisconsin

  • supporting the National Fraternal Congress of America and assisting the Congress in achieving its many objectives

  • promoting understanding and cooperation among the societies affiliated with this Congress, and with the Wisconsin Fraternal Insurance Counsellors.
